The challenge
File conversion involves resource-intensive operations that can block application requests, consume server resources, and create unnecessary exposure of uploaded files.

The approach
I built the frontend with React and Vite, connected it to a PHP and Python backend, and integrated FFmpeg for media processing. Background processing and temporary cloud storage separate conversion workloads from the user interface.
